About Us

Orland Congregational Church is a non-denominational Bible teaching church. Our church is blessed with a diverse range of ages, church backgrounds and abilities. We have a variety of activities for children, youth and adults. We are a close knit loving body, always willing to welcome others into its loving care.

Our church seeks to be centered on the Word of God. Therefore, the Bible is our source of materials for services and classes. Our church services are traditional, yet incorporate choruses and an informal casual style.

Our Mission

Our mission is to use our available resources to equip believers to become mature servants of Jesus Christ.  ​(Ephesians 4:12-16)

Our Values

Lordship of Christ: Jesus is the head of our church and we submit ourselves, and all our activities in trustful obedience to His will. (Ephesians. 1:20-23; Colossians 1:18)

Bible-Centered: The Bible is our authority. This involves a commitment to expository teaching and preaching. (2 Timothy 3:14-17)

Grace-Oriented: God's undeserved favor, forgiveness, acceptance, and enablement are the only means for living in a right relationship with Him. (Ephesians 2:8-9, Colossians 2:6-7, Galatians 3:3; 5:6)

Great Commission-Directed: Our passion is to evangelize unbelievers in our immediate area and to the ends of the earth. (Matthew 28:18-20; Acts 1:6-9)

Prayer-Dependent: Individual and corporate prayer is essential. (Colossians 4:12, 1 Thessalonians 5:17, Acts 4:31, James 5:17-18, Matthew 14:23)

Godly Leadership: Church leaders must meet the Biblical standards and an intentional walk with Jesus Christ. (Acts 20:28, 1 Timothy 3:1-13)

Necessity of Conversion: Conversion is turning from ourselves to Christ. (Romans 10:13)
